Here's my TLDR review, for the efficient, busy, and fast-acting sushi lovers out there:

Ginza is a no frills, very fresh, and very tasty Japanese restaurant.  You'll be in and out of there in 30 minutes, but certainly will not leave hungry or broke.  The food is very reasonably priced, especially when you catch $2.50 happy hour sushi (which runs the whole day, literally, and includes 22 standard rolls).  I grew up in the area so I have been coming here for probably 10 years, and the food (including cooked dishes and sushi items) has been consistently good for as long as I can remember.

Here are some more deets, if you have a little more time and attention span:

The Shtick: No frills Japanese.  I wouldn't say that this place has a particular "shtick," but the "happy hour" deal ($2.50 per roll for 28 rolls on the menu, all day) is a pretty huge differentiation, especially in a city where sushi is often the higher priced dinner option.

The Product: The food here never disappoints.  I love that there are so many rice free sushi roll options, which are my personal favorite, and all rolls are thoughtfully composed for ultimate flavor and textural combinations.  The Cucumber Skin roll is my favorite, which has tuna, salmon, white fish, tamago, and avocado on the inside, and is wrapped in cucumber.  The three fish pair very well together and the tamago adds an excellent element of sweetness and texture to the roll.  The avocado is always fresh and creamy, and the cucumber skin wrapping adds the crunchy textural element that this roll needs.  The cooked food is also tasty, especially the chicken fried rice.  Other honorable mentions on the menu are the gyoza, beef negima, tuna tataki, tuna or salmon tartar, yellowtail jalapeno appetizer, wesley roll, and the chirashi.

The Space: The restaurant is cozy, a bit dim, and has a very cool mirror ceiling that will keep you and your friends/family occupied until your first course comes (which takes approximately 95 seconds).  There are booths and tables in the front of the restaurant, and additional seating in the back.  You can also sit up at the bar and watch the sushi chefs prepare your meal!

The Staff: No complaints at all here.  I have been coming here for many years with friends and family, so the staff have all gotten to know me.  Whenever I come back, they ask about my parents, sister, and various friends I have taken there for lunch/dinner over the years.  They are a bit fast-paced, so they might come over to your table quickly once you are seated to see if you are ready to order, often stop by to ask if there's anything you need, and will ask if you are finished with something as soon as you put your chopsticks down.  That said, I never got the feeling that I was being disrespected or rushed, but rather the wait staff was very attentive (which I would consider to be a good thing).

Price/Value: Can't beat it!  $2.50 for half of the sushi rolls on the menu is basically unheard of.  Though some of the special rolls can be pricey (upwards of $10), most of them are reasonable priced, and the hot dishes are all under $15.  The Chirashi is an excellent bang for your buck, because at $12 you get 12 pieces of varied sashimi along with seasoned rice.  Plenty for a full meal, even if you come hangry.

My favorite new place to order sushi from!! The prices are great for what you get. Their options are also very customizable, which fits my allergen needs well. Courier was very nice and arrived quickly! Definitely would recommend for a night when you want good Japanese food but don't want to spend your whole paycheck.

Quick, to the point, fast & decent rolls. Got a mixture of specialty rolls, rock & roll (eel, avo + cucumber+ salmon skin) and Saba sushi. I enjoyed the yellowtail caviar w fried tempura inside as well.
